How to make faceless videos.

A faceless channel needs no camera and no studio. You pick a format that carries itself with a voice and visuals, like Reddit stories, text-message stories or split-screen clips, then make them in batches.

- Narrated story videos with gameplay behind them.
- Text-message conversations that play out one message at a time.
- Split-screen clips: someone else's footage you have the right to use on top, satisfying gameplay below.
- Voiceover explainers over images or screen recordings.
- Audiobook-style reads of public-domain or original writing.
What you actually need
A script, a voice, something to look at, and captions. That is the whole recipe. The script is the part that decides whether anyone watches, so spend your effort there and let tools handle the rest.

Things to get right
- Use stories and footage you have permission to use. Do not repost someone else's writing without asking.
- Say in the description if a voice is AI-generated, where the platform asks for it.
- Make a batch of five before you post one, so you can judge your own work against a few.

Platform rules decide that, and they change. Original work with real effort in it is treated better than mass-produced reposts, so add your own writing and editing.
Try a few. Faster speed settings often suit story videos better than the default pace.
Every Zlayo account gets 3 free creations to start, with no card. Free videos are up to 45 seconds, 480p, with a small watermark.
Check each post's author and the rules of the community. When in doubt, write your own story or ask for permission.
