Questions About Paying

Hover to peek, click to keep it open.

How long the videos you make add up to, not how long you spent making them. A 45-second clip uses three quarters of a minute. Uploading costs you nothing, previewing costs you nothing, and a video that fails costs you nothing.

How much long video Auto-Clip listens through for you. A two-hour recording uses two hours whether it hands you three clips or fifteen. Cutting a piece out by hand does not touch it, and neither does anything else on the site.

No. Every payment is final, including yearly ones and months you did not use. Making a video costs machine time the moment it starts, and that cannot be undone. There is no free trial of the tools, so if you are not sure yet, start on Hobby and pay monthly.

The payment still stands. You can cancel at any moment from the billing page and it stops the next one, but a payment already taken is not returned. Set a reminder if yearly billing worries you — or pay monthly instead.

That does not cost you anything. Only a finished video is counted, and it is counted once, so a failure, a cancel or a retry uses nothing. No money changes hands over it either way.

Nothing already running stops, so a video never dies halfway through. You wait for the reset on the first of the month, or move up a plan.

Any time, both directions. Moving up charges the difference for the rest of the month and raises your allowance straight away. Moving down takes effect at the next renewal, so you keep what you already paid for.

Sign up and look around: the tools, the editor, the caption looks. Making anything — clips, Reddit stories, fake texts, split screens, voiceovers, audiobooks, an editor export — needs a paid plan, from $19 a month. Every paid plan has every tool.

Yes, up to 31% off, same plan and same allowance. It is one payment for the year rather than twelve, and it is just as non-refundable, so pay monthly if you are not sure yet.

Yes, on any paid plan, including using it to earn money. Whether you had the right to the footage you put in is on you — read the copyright page before you use somebody else's video.
