How do I import a video from Google Drive or Dropbox?

Set the file to 'anyone with the link can view', copy the share link and paste it into Zlayo. The server downloads it, so you don't have to upload a large file from your own connection.

Steps

    Share the file

    Choose 'anyone with the link' in Drive or Dropbox.

    Copy the link

    A normal share link works.

  3. 3

    Paste it into Zlayo

    Add a source from link in your project.

  4. 4

    Wait for the download

    Progress shows on the source.

If it fails

  • The link isn't public: change the sharing setting.
  • The file isn't a video or audio file.
  • Only Google Drive and Dropbox links work; other sites and YouTube links don't.
