What is Zlayo?
3 min read · Updated October 24, 2026
Zlayo is an all-in-one AI tool for making short-form videos for YouTube Shorts, TikTok and Reels. It clips long videos automatically, makes Reddit story, fake text and split-screen videos from a script, and does voiceovers, voice cloning, captions and audiobooks — with an editor to change anything.

- AI clipping: long videos or YouTube links into captioned vertical clips that follow the speaker.
- Reddit story videos: a post narrated over gameplay with word-by-word captions.
- Fake text videos: a chat that plays out message by message.
- Split screen: your clip on top, gameplay underneath.
- AI voiceovers and Voice Studio voice cloning.
- Audiobooks from EPUB or text files.
- Caption looks, a timeline editor and clip tools (compress, speed, volume, GIF).
Is Zlayo free?
No. You can make a free account, with no card, and look around — but making anything (clips, stories, texts, voiceovers, audiobooks, an editor export) needs a paid plan. Voiceovers, audiobooks and clip tools don't use your monthly minutes.
Paid plans are Hobby ($19/month), Clipper ($39/month) and Pro ($89/month), with yearly billing cheaper. Every paid plan has every tool, Auto-Clip included, at full size with no mark; the bigger plans add more minutes, hours of footage and projects.
Who it's for
Clippers (including people in paid clipping campaigns), streamers, podcasters and faceless-channel creators who post short videos every day and want one tool for every format.
